WTV it is... Ride it!
The acronym WTV stands for “whatever.” (source: the wordcounter.com). Being from Cleveland, I just assumed everybody knew that WTV means 'whatever' and I am glad that some of you have asked me what WTV means in the CycleNuts motto - WTV it is...Ride it! It means, CycleNuts welcomes all sorts of cycles on tour.
Speaking of WTV it is...many are adding the big E to their cycling stable - including me. I like it. CycleNuts is about cycle touring. E-bikes increase touring possibilities for those who formerly were limited by their cycling ability to overcome distance, headwind, and hills - especially if lugging additional touring gear. My e-bike has opened touring opportunities. I am sure yours will, as well.

are you and your bike insured?
Some home-owners and renters insurance policies cover you and your bike. Most of these policies DO NOT cover E-bikes (electric bikes) but there are bike insurance company options. However, NONE of these bike insurance companies will insure over 750 watts. For E-bikes over 750 watts you will need a motorcycle insurance policy specifically for mopeds. Note: a 1000 watt motor is equivalent to a 29.5 cc gas motor. Click for nerdy calculations

WarmShowers provides a link between cyclists looking for an overnight spot to stop and those offering such a thing, for free!
Either through the website WarmShowers.org or the smart app of the same name cycle tourists are able to match up with hosts along their route. The offerings vary from a bed to sleep in to a piece of yard to set up a tent; from a full course meal and a shower to bare minimum accommodations. The details of each host and the profiles of each tourist are listed online to make matching easy.
